Official Opening of Interfaith Week 2011
Sunday November 20th 1.30 to 3.30pm – The Centre
Official opening by Rt Revd Alan Wilson, Bishop of Buckingham, with The Worshipful the Mayor of Slough, Councillor Sukhjit Dhaliwal, Superintendent Richard Humphrey, Local Policing Area Commander, Slough and other speakers.
Coffee and tea provided.

Interfaith Week 2011 Exhibition
There will be an Exhibition at The Centre throughout the week
Opening hours – Sunday 20th, 1.pm to 9pm – Monday to Friday 5pm to 9pm
There will be stands around the hall with information available from a number of local faith groups, interfaith organisations and many others, including:
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Fostering Recruitment Officer
will be holding a stand to promote fostering in this area, offering invitations to an information evening coming up in Maidenhead and providing packs and other printed material useful for those wishing to find out more about becoming a foster carer.
The Ministry of Defence will have a stand which will be manned by their diversity team, on the theme of the Army in Society. A Senior Army Chaplain will be present on Thursday evening. Free copies of Soldier – the magazine of the British
Army – will be available, the poppy and remembrance theme being uppermost in November’s edition.
