Launch Event at Kingsway

Interfaith Week in Slough will be officially launched by the Mayor of Slough, Councilor Joginder Singh Bal at 1pm at Kingsway in  Church Street, Slough. Everyone is welcome – please come along and get our exhibition and spectacular week of events off to a great start.

Walk ‘n talk in Salt Hill Park

Islam Awareness week this year coincides with National Interfaith week. Slough is proud to be launching ‘walk ‘n talk’ – the first of many around the UK in the coming year. We will be oined by Dawud Wharnsby, singer/songwriter to launch the event.

Come and walk with your neighbours, meet new friends, talk to people who you would otherwise not get a chnce to meet. Salt Hill Park – Sunday 22nd November at 10.20am

All ages – young and old, men and women, pushchairs or wheelchairs – whatever the weather!

Ever wondered what ordinary people of faith really believe?
Or how a person of another faith lives out their beliefs?

Then come and ‘borrow’ someone for some conversation and coffee and find out some answers.

Discuss issues important to young people in Slough and look together at ways ahead.
